In 1947 when the maps of India and Pakistan were being drawn, an oversight ensured that the village of Paglapur didn't find a place in either country. The village had the distinction of housing the largest mental asylum in the region and in the mêlée that ensued during partition, the asylum inmates broke loose, drove away the villagers and established their own republic in Paglapur. And that's how it stayed for the next 60 years! While the world outside changed, Paglapur remained isolated, with no electricity, television or sanity. Now, decades after the world forgot this village, a NASA scientist of Indian origin, Agastya and his beautiful wife find themselves on the road to Paglapur. Agastya is working on a top secret project for creating a device to communicate with aliens. So why is he in a village whose colorful inhabitants include a man who speaks in gibberish, another who thinks he is a lamp post and everyone else who think Mahatma Gandhi is still around is all about the movie Joker.

Joker is a comedy and drama genered movie directed by Shirish Kunder and the starcast of the movie are Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba and etc.

"Now coming to acting, Akshay does well in his role. Doesn't overdo anything and is OK. Sonakshi is content with being in the background in each of her films and this is what she does here. I don't think she even had a proper dialog in this film. Shreyas Talpade is Akshay's mental brother who talks gibberish. I found Shreyas really irritating here; Asrani does well and Minissha Lamba has a special appearance as a TV reporter in the film.The length of the film is probably its only saving grace. Its around 105 mins long and you don't have to sit through a long 2 and a half hour-ish torturous film. There are some laughs in the first half but the comedy is very average. The songs are alright and Chitranga Singh's item number is not too special. I would advise to give this film a miss. Nor worth it."is the movie review in imdb.
